How do I sell pipes by the foot and nails by the kilo?
Set each product's Measuring Unit to what you sell by, e.g. Foot, Kilogram, Meter, Box or Piece. Quantities can have decimals, like 12.5 feet. If you need a unit that isn't in the list, add it under Manage → Measuring Units.
How do I sell screws by the box and by the piece?
- Set the product's Measuring Unit to Piece.
- Tap Add Secondary Unit, name it "Box" and set Qty per Primary Unit to the number of screws in a box, e.g. 100.
- On the invoice, choose Box or Piece for each line.
How do I give a contractor a quotation for a big job?
- Make a Sale Invoice with the contractor and all the items.
- Tap Save as Quotation. Print it on A4 or share it on WhatsApp.
- When they confirm, open it from History → Sales Quotation History and save it as an invoice.
How do I keep a contractor's running account?
Add the contractor as a customer. Every credit invoice adds to their balance and every payment reduces it. Open the customer to see all their invoices and payments, and check everyone at once in Reports → Receivable / Payable.
How do I fix stock after a physical count?
Open the menu, then Transaction → Stock Adjustment. Tap Add Item, choose the item, pick Set Count and enter the quantity you counted. Use Add Stock or Subtract Stock to change it by an amount instead.
