Example shop: a mobile phone and accessories shop. Phones come in storage sizes and colours, accessories are sold by the piece, the shop also does repairs, and some customers pay in instalments.

How do I add a phone with different storage and colours?

  1. Turn on Variants.
  2. Add the product (e.g. "Galaxy A55") and tap Add Variant for each option, like "128 GB / Black".
  3. Enter each variant's stock and scan its box barcode into Variant Barcode.
  4. Save.

How do I charge for repairs?

  1. Open Manage → Services and add each repair you offer, like "Screen replacement", with its price.
  2. On a Sale Invoice, add the service like any item. Services do not use stock.

How do I sell a phone on instalments?

  1. Make a Sale Invoice for the customer and enter the down payment in Paid Amount.
  2. Save. The rest shows as receivable from that customer.
  3. Each month, tap Payment on the Dashboard and record the instalment.
  4. Check who is behind on payments in Reports → Receivable / Payable.

I keep phones in the shop and in a display centre. How do I track both?

  1. Open Manage → Locations/Warehouse → Add Location, and choose type Display Center or Warehouse.
  2. Move stock between them with Transaction → Stock Transfer (pick From Location and To Location).
  3. Reports → Stock Report shows how much is at each location.

A customer returned a faulty item. How do I record it?

Open the menu, then Transaction → Sales Return. Pick the customer and the item. Stock and the customer's balance are updated. If the item cannot be resold, record it under Damaged Stock as well.
